March 23rd-24th 2012 will be the next Pancakes & Booze art show in which we will be exhibiting! Come and join us, take in some art, music, booze and free pancakes. We will be displaying 3 pieces as well as live painting! We will also have limited amounts of our archival quality art prints available at a killer discount for those who attend.

Since dfrnt is a collaborative team, Mia will be painting Friday night and Tony will be painting Saturday night. Just look for the “dfrnt Times” painting station, you’ll know it when you see it. If you’d like to spend some time with the individual artist we recommend coming on the night on which they are not painting if possible.

We’re in the middle of a lot of business adjustments at the moment, sorting through the various projects we have planned, our website redesign, and making sure we begin this year with a focus on effective financial management to ensure our most successful year yet. We’ll be working on those administrative type tasks for quite some time to get them out of the way early this year, but we couldn’t stand the lack of a creative outlet so we started a new painting today!

LOS ANGELES – On November 1st, 2011 the artistic duo known as “dfrnt” proudly began releasing glimpses of their new series Land of Los Muertos, an original series that has been a long time aspiration held by the artists. Here we are once again with our latest art video, celebrating El Dia de Los Muertos in our favorite way. This event is celebrated on November 1 & 2nd and is primarily about remembering those loved ones who have passed away.
